14: The Corrupted Blood Epidemic - WoW
In 2005 Blizzard added a new encounter to their World of Warcraft game, infecting those close to a dungeon end boss with a contagious plague. Players decided to see what would happen if they could get the plague out of the dungeon and an epidemic spread across the online world.
13: Scary Maze Game
This classic prank can be found in many app stores and browser game sites. Spoiler, there is no level 4, just this Exorcist Image and other cheesy horror effects.

Originally an April Fool's Day joke in 2002, the Idea that pigeons pick and choose Google results by pecking actually has fooled people since then, especially as it comes up when you Google how does Google work.
11: Blue Screen of Death
A classic screen saver prank, just substituting this infamous blue fatal error screen for their screensaver. You can download it from google images, along with many other prank screens.
10: The Rickroll
One of the most classic online pranks, just convince someone you have a cool link and send them to the Rick Astley video on YouTube. On April 1 2008, YouTube redirected everything on their front page to Rick as a prank on their users.
9: Slime Invasion
Another video game prank, one player crashed the world of Ultima Online, by locking slime in his house and multiplying it exponentially until he could flood the whole world by opening his door. He did it again the next day after his ransom demands were not met.
8: Phantom Keystroker
There are a number of products and plugins for doing spooky stuff on peoples computers. The Phantom Keystroker USB device will automatically type or wiggle the mouse and can be given different settings.
7: Cubical Pranks
Its an unofficial office mandate - anyone who travels on business or takes a vacation is open game to getting their space taped over or turned into art.
6: Broken Screen
With high definition displays replacing a screen saver with something like this might find a few gullible targets.
5: Change mouse pointer to busy
The last 5 pranks are the simplest. If you change the default mouse icon to the busy one, its a simple way to prank a coworker
4: Pretend to Install Linux
Boot someones PC off a Linux Live CD, this requires no installation. They will think their computer has been upgraded to a new operating system, just make sure they don't do anything drastic while you watch them figure it out.
3: Desktop Wallpaper
Take a screenshot of someones desktop, turn it into their background, and then hide their shortcuts. There are any number of variations of adding folders and programs to the back ground wallpaper that are not really there.
2: Wireless Mouse or Keyboard
Just stick a Wireless mouse USB interface in the back of your victims computer. Be subtle about using your mouse and they may not catch for a long time.
1: AutoCorrect
Another simple computer prank is customizing someones AutoCorrect. Go into its tables and add typos or making it so every time the victim types there name they get an insult.
