Tiger handheld LCD games were the best! They had a game for almost every cartoon including Power Rangers, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Full House. These bad boys were THE thing to have before the Gameboy hit the scene!

20: Nickelodeon Timeblaster Alarm Clock
Wouldn't mind waking up to this! The Nickelodeon Timeblaster Alarm Clock alarm clock features a green zig-zag light and a radio. One of the alarm options is the Nickelodeon theme, "Nick Nick Nick Nick, N-Nick Nick Nick, Nickelodeon!" How awesome is that!?
19: Password Journal
Your secrets weren't safe unless you had a Password Journal! Since the 90's there have been newer versions of the Password Journal, but there's nothing like the original! It was the 'it' thing to have in the 90's. What's better than speaking to your own journal? (That is unless you had to say your password 20 times before it opened!)

17: Hit Clips
HitClips were another creation by the awesome people at Tiger Electronics. These guys were first distributed at McDonald's and they blew up! They may have only played 30 seconds of your favorite jam, but back then that was SO awesome!
16: Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker
The Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker, aka the Thingmaker, was a little brother's dream come true. What little bro wouldn't like to scare their sister with nasty, molded insects? Whether you loved or hated this toy, you definitely remember it!
15: Skip-It
The Skip-It first hit the toy scene in the 80's. However, the "Skip-It Renaissance," as then CEO of Tiger Electronics called it, began in the 90's when they decided to put a counter on the toy to record the number of skips made. This opened up the doors for all kinds of backyard wars! Oh, the hours we spent with the Skip It!
14: Clueless Hands-Free Phone
A hands-free phone with a classic 90's movie theme! Not only was it AWESOME to have your own (fake) cell phone, this cell phone talked back when you pushed a button. What did it say? "As if!", "Whatever", and "I'm Outie!"
13: Tamagotchi
If you didn't own a Tamagotchi, you weren't cool. The Tamagotchi was a handheld digital pet. The characters were colorful and simple and the owner had to take care of them as if they were a real pet that needed to eat, sleep, and be kept clean. They're still sold today, but aren't appreciated like they were back in the 90s!
12: Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64, aka N64, was a necessity. It made its American debut in 1997 and was an instant hit! Those of you that are still able to play yours are so lucky! Mario Kart for Wii just doesn't compare...
11: Barbie Fashion Designer CD-ROM
Computer games were so cool in the 90s! Dressing Barbie on the computer was way better than dressing an actual doll. The game had awesome features and let you select the occasion, design Barbie's outfit, add accessories, choose patterns/colors, and then watch Barbie model your masterpiece!
10: Easy Bake Oven
The Easy Bake Oven was introduced in the 60's but became very popular in the 90's. The pink design indicates it was designed for little girls but we all know that all the kids were trying to 1 up their Mom's chocolate chip cookies!
9: Game Boy Camera
"Smile! You're on Gameboy Camera!" Remember that catchy commercial jingle? The Gameboy Camera was introduced in 1998 and was at the time the world's smallest digital camera!
8: Yak Bak
A voice recorder might not sound that cool today, but back in the 90's it was awesome! Since the original Yak Bak, there have been several newer versions including Yak Bak 2, Yak Wakky, and Yak Bak Power Penz. How many kids do you think got sent to detention because of their Yak Bak Power Penz?
7: Barbie Super Talking Flip Phone
Talking on a cell phone was the best thing as a 90's kid. You were kind of a big deal if you had your own portable cell phone. Who cares if the only person you were talking to was Barbie?!
6: Tickle Me Elmo
Tickle Me Elmo wasn't just a toy, it was a 90's sensation! How many of you got to witness or wish you got to witness dedicated parents fighting each other for Tickle Me Elmo at Toys R Us on Christmas Eve? What a sight that must have been!
5: Dream Phone
Girls, how much did you love this game? A hot guy answered the phone and told you who your secret admirer was! Heck, this game would be awesome to have nowadays!
4: Beanie Babies
Okay, so Beanie Babies were in no way tech-y. But all the cool kids had tons of them! How many of you still have your Beanie Babies tucked away in storage? It's okay, we're all still telling ourselves that they will someday be worth thousands!
3: Lite Brite
Lite Brites have been around since the 60's, but they were still cool enough for a 90's kid! Nowadays, there is a Lite-Brite app on the iPad... that is in NO way as cool as having a massive 3D box and tiny colored plastic pegs!
2: Furby
The Furby is what one would call a "must-have" toy. The Furby was so cool, we overlooked the fact that they are entirely creepy! How many of you learned how to speak fluent Furbish after spending so much time with your little guy?
1: Game Boy
Here it is, the original Game Boy! The Game Boy was the first handheld system from Nintendo. It was like bringing your whole Nintendo Entertainment System and your favorite Nintendo games with you wherever you went. How many of you are still lucky enough to play your Game Boy?
