Your partner just went with his/her friends out for a drink. Ask her/him what drinks they ordered, what music was played, what did they talk about etc... Ask for as much details as possible and then compare his/her answers with those of his/her friends.

Try to make yourself sound as natural as possible. Then observe his/hers reactions. If your partner feels anxious, starts defending or attacking cheaters, tries to change the topic and a few minutes later starts acting extremely nice, than you probably have caught a cheater.

See if you can detect any unusual cigarette smoke, perfumes or deodorants. Also check for hair and lipstick marks. A moved seat position in his/her car is also a revealing evidence.

Surprise Him/Her
Come home unexpectedly. Take a day off from work and get home during the middle of the day. Or make false traveling arrangements and change your plans at the last minute.

Look for multiple calls from a hidden number or a number without a name. A funny name is also suspicious as it can be some kind of a nickname. Also read the received and the sent SMS. Check for exposing photos.

If you are confident that your partner is a cheater, you can always ask a good friend of yours to spy on your partner and report of all his/hers actions.
