“Thanks For A Nice Time”
Make sure to thank them for the nice time together, even if you didn’t really have a great time. If it wasn’t a good fit, don’t feel like you have to make a connection at the end of the night. It’s okay to just walk away if you’re not interested, just make sure to be polite about it and wish them well.

This is just a backwards way of figuring out where you’d go on your next date. If they love to cook, then they may end up wanting to cook for you on one of your future dates. If they don’t, you may be able to surprise them by cooking for them or just finding out their favorite restaurant and food.

This is one of those universal things that you want to say no matter how they actually look. Naturally, they will have put some effort into their appearance for the date so make sure they know you noticed and appreciate that.

Bring up interesting places throughout your conversation that you’re thinking would make a great date in the future. Don’t tell them you’re thinking of taking them but find out if they’ve ever been there or if they’d be interested.

Chances are that the place you’re going on a first date is something that the other person has done before but there’s always the chance that it’s somewhere they’ve never been before. Take interest in that, it will mean something to them.

Learn their interests, their likes and dislikes and figure out what you have in common. This could be a good way to see how you’ll connect long term and if a second date would be worth your time or theirs.
