What Does Your Twitter Stream Reveal About Your Personality?

#14 Wrong Time

You tweet at the wrong time in the wrong place a lot. Most of your tweets are during lectures in class that you should probably be paying attention to or about a movie you're watching in a dark theater. We're pretty sure you even tweet while you're in the bathroom but you've never posted anything about it... so far.

15: You Want To Have Fun
You're always looking for something to do and you feel restless when nothing's happening. You can't just enjoy a quiet day inside, you've got to be in the know and having a great time everywhere you go. We like people like you when we're going to throw a party, but sometimes it would be nice to just enjoy each others company without having it feel like a big event.
14: Wrong Time
You tweet at the wrong time in the wrong place a lot. Most of your tweets are during lectures in class that you should probably be paying attention to or about a movie you're watching in a dark theater. We're pretty sure you even tweet while you're in the bathroom but you've never posted anything about it... so far.
13: You Love Gossip
Unlike other social media sites, Twitter can go unseen by the majority of people you know. No one really knows someone has a Twitter unless they have a link to it on another site making it the perfect place for some people to gossip. They can talk trash about the people around them, the place they work and even where they live without anyone really making a big deal about it. We don't think it makes it any less immature but we understand the temptation all too well...
12: All Work, No Play
Ah, work, the thing that most of us see as something completely separate from our social lives. So, it should be a little surprising to realize how many people use a social media platform like Twitter to focus on the office. Granted, it's way different if you work for a fun place like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory (or Mylikes!) and you want to tweet about the exciting things going on, but still, your work isn't your everything so don't Tweet like it is. No one likes to believe that they're dull but your Twitter says it all. You've got your mind on your work and your work on your mind!
11: Communication
We think it's great that you can use to Twitter to post things and reply to the posts of the people you follow. It's really brought the world together in an interesting way. We love that you can communicate with people that live on the other side of the world in 140 characters or less but some people take it a little too far. If you use Twitter to talk to someone that's currently down the hall, you probably should reevaluate the way you communicate with others.
10: Open Relationship
A relationship is a personal connection between two people. Sure, there are some parts of it that should be celebrated publicly, but there are usually even more parts that should remain between those two people! If you frequently spend your tweets talking about your significant other in vivid detail, you just might be a little more open with your relationship than any of us would care to know. She bought you a copy of your favorite DVD and you want to share a photo of it? Cool! She's clipping her toe nails right now and you've got the picture to prove it? Not so cool...
9: Pop Culture
Every one of your tweets somehow involve something you watched on television, a movie you can't wait to see or an article you read in Cosmo. You only follow celebrities and you retweet and reply to them like they're your friends. You have an obsession with pop culture and that's okay but we hope this is just a phase that will eventually pass.
8: Attention Seeker
You like to stir controversy wherever you go and Twitter is no exception. You debate people on their posts, tweet sarcastic commentary about the world around you and post outrageous photos on a daily basis. You want to make sure everyone knows you're an individual and you'll go out of your way to prove it. You say it's because you want to stand for something, but deep down we all know it's because you really want to stand out.
7: You're Easily Distracted
If a typical day of tweets goes like this for you: "I've got to get my homework finished and study for the big exam tomorrow", "Man, I love the show 'Big Bang Theory'! So funny!", "Turns out you really can't eat a spoon of cinnamon" and "I'm so bored. Text me!" within the same hour and a half then you probably have trouble staying focused.
6: You're Lonely
You're constantly tweeting at people and trying to get conversations going over your Twitter stream. You get a little bit bummed out when someone doesn't respond to you and you're always wanting to know what someone's doing so you can feel included. We understand, it's tough feeling like a loner but hang in there, we're sure you'll make some friends soon.
5: You're a Flirt
We're all for making a "love connection" and we think that online romance can be really cute but it's a completely different story when someone can't control themselves, especially over something as public as Twitter. If every few days, you find a stream of tweets where you're flirting with a different person, you've probably got an unflattering reputation you didn't know about and it's time for a reality check.
4: Emotional
We get it, emotions can get the best of you sometimes. We all have that problem to an extent, but we have to learn how to deal with it. For you, this means tweeting 5 times in a row about your bad mood. We really love the Tweets where you're happy but seriously consider unfollowing you during the other times. It seems like every day you have some reason to post a depressing tweet and that seriously bums us out.
3: You're Missing Out
Yeah, we're all jealous that you got box seats at the NBA playoffs. Sure, it's cool that you got to see that new fashion designer's runway show. We also wish we could have gone to the beach this weekend like you did but we're kind of wondering something, did you really need to post 15+ tweets about it? If you're so busy tweeting about your life, is there really any room left to cherish the actual events? Think it over, you may be missing out!
2: You Tweet Too Much
You've realized that you can't remember what you had for breakfast last Thursday. Then you can't remember what were thinking about during math class yesterday. Then, you can't remember the joke you were laughing about two weeks ago. No worries, since you use your Twitter as a place to share every single thought that passes through your head, you can just go back and look! Here's the way to check: if you can read about everything you've done in the last week through your Twitter, you just might be using it too much.
1: You're a-okay!
You tweet anywhere between once every two weeks and a couple times every day. You may tweet less if you're on vacation or more if something big is happening. You only follow people you actually know or some public figures and celebrities you admire. You don't over-share and you never feel a stinging regret over the things you've posted. You sound like a very well-balanced person.
