15: Reuse coupons
Coupons can limit an amount per customer and if you can get the same deal more than once on an essential item, you can be saving a lot. Coupons are divided into one time use or available for multiple uses at the purchase. Knowing this may allow you to receive the same deals multiple times in one trip to the store. If coupons are available for reuse, share with friends and let them help you out in saving money. You can never be too vigilant about saving money, so have your friends watch your back.

13: Seasons in Saving
Don't buy your winter wardrobe in the winter, buy it in the summer. Out of season clothes are always less expensive compared to when they are in season. Buy clothing out of season usually means huge discounts and savings.
12: Holiday Deals
Don't think Black Friday, think online deals. Online retailers or online site of store retailers may have deals. Online store can have free shipping and sometimes you can avoid paying taxes. Some sites do not charge sales tax and that could mean big savings.
11: Craigslist
This online sales board allows people to find bargains from garage sales around their locale. You may buy new items for a great deal or you can visit, try before you buy to analyze the condition of used electronics, cars, books, and so much more.
10: Check the Clearance Section
You never know what discounted items there are. Retail stores place their remaining stock of items so they can re-shelve with new products and new layouts so remaining stock is relocated and repriced for quick sale purposes. Or you may find damaged package items for great deals. Store closings may have these to clear out inventory or salvage as much as they can in their bankruptcy.
9: Buy Generic
National brands don't work better or they'd hold special patents for their superior technology. Bargain brands are not shameful and nobody takes pride in buying bandages over band-aids. National brands are not proven to be better than generic, regardless of what advertising says. Advertising is money spent on manufacturers to make you buy their brand.
8: Buy in Bulk
Buy in quantities to save on trips and get better deals. Costco and other wholesale stores are effectively used by small businesses to make money. Buying in bulk makes you spend more at once but save more in the long run. Per-unit cost goes down. But careful about buying perishable goods because they must be used quicly. Or shop with a friend or group of friends.
7: Compare Prices
Each store has different prices and if they do not accept competitor coupons/deals, then you have to be vigilant. Even huge corporations that have the same values can still have differing county, state, and city tax percentages.
6: Gift Cards
Always bring and use them. Consumers each year lose money for expired gift cards or lost cards. According to TowerGroup each year consumers lose value in inflation, lost cards, expired cards, or unused cards. Consumer reports show $8 million in losses to American consumers. These cards can be received from friends or family for birthdays or other celebratory events. They aren't better than cash but giving cash can be tacky. To show that you appreciate the gift, at least use it to the fullest extent. Most retailers allow for customers to combine cash and gift card payments if the purchase value is greater than the amount on the gift card. Otherwise simply load the gift card with the exact value in cash. While you may receive gift cards, you should never buy them for personal or family use. Money left in gift cards cannot generate value from being invested or gain interest in savings accounts. Retailers may close and value can be lost forever. Watch out, Visa gift cards that can be used as cash anywhere require wasting a loading fee to input money into the card.
5: Loyalty programs
If the store has some type of loyalty reward system that offers coupons or gift cards for certain amounts spent, then remember to use or bring them to reduce your spending. Though the savings may not be much, they can add up if you share this loyalty account card or phone number with family and friends to add up and gather points for redeeming value.
4: Competitor Coupons
These coupons normally scan and work at their specified stores but sometimes if you find a retailer that may sell the same item, they might accept competitor coupons to win your loyalty, provide you with a chance to save, andprove they offer the best deals. This can save you time and gas from your commute if the retailer is closer or you can use your gift cards if you have them from a certain retailer.
3: Rainchecks
Many people forget that these deals are available if you can get a raincheck from the retailer. The retailer may be out of the product and may need time to reorder stock so a raincheck will guarantee the same deal for that product. With a raincheck, the same sale deals can be available for the customers if they hold a raincheck even after the sales have expired.
2: Coupons Available Online
Even for in-store shopping, there are printable coupons that many people can share online. The employees may not accept printed coupons on 20 lbs paper so matte paper will not always work. Gloss photo paper and a clear defined print quality will always help in-store use. Retailers may even honor coupons from different regions of the world for the same company, store, chain or franchise.
1: Internet Shopping Coupons
Before checking out there always is the option to enter in coupon codes and these codes can work for more than one user. These coupons are available online on many unofficial sites. They give you catalog deals that you may have missed or have not signed up for. There are international coupons that may not be available in your region. Many tines these coupons can continue due to errors that keep them valid for extended periods.
