An Italian Fantasia class ship named by Sophia Lauren and originally used for her owner's voyages, it's the largest ship operated by MSC Cruises to date and the largest ever constructed for a European owner.

The Voyager-class ship costs about $650 million and one of the primary reasons for that is its multiple uses. Along with being a residency, the cruise ship also produces fresh water through a steam evaporator and a seawater desalination unit.

Carrying 3,114 passengers, the Navigator often holds several night cruises around Florida and summer sails from Italy to the Eastern Mediterranean. The ship itself also holds over $3 million in art displayed in public areas and stairwells.

This Royal Caribbean International ship was initially called Endeavour Of The Seas but later changed its name to something more appealing. Today, it works; the MS Liberty accommodates 3,634 passengers and 1,360 crew and makes a home among European waters and Mediterranean areas.

Another RCI liner, the Freedom was the largest cruise ship ever assembled up until 2006. It currently resides in Port Canaveral and is only used for Caribbean excursions.

A sister ship to the Allure Of The Seas, this Royal Caribbean International cruise ship is the largest though it's beaten by a technicality. Recently, it set a record for carrying the most passengers with over 6,000.

Built in Finland, the Allure Of The Seas technically holds the record of the largest passenger ship ever constructed. In metric terms, the ship is 360 metres long and cost approx. $1.2 billion.
