#13 Wendy's Superbar
Restaurants have their salad bar and Pizza Hut has their buffets but when Wendy's tried to introduce their very own ethnic bar full of pastas, salad and desserts, their idea fell flat. Not too long after its initial launch, Wendys closed down the idea of its Superbar due to the fact it wasn't actually "fast food".

Taco Bell has always been... inventive with their products and their ability to blend cheese, meats, vegetables and spices but for a limited time, the chain sold the Frito Burrito, a chili-cheese wrap stuffed with Fritos chips. In a sense, why bother eating side dishes separate, right?

Burger King's Meat-normous
First there was an actual calorie-ridden, death sentence full of meat that Burger King did introduce in the 1990s', but at the turn of the century, BK outdid its customers by taking breakfast sandwiches to the next level. Their new omelet sandwich consisted of eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage with additional toppings to give it that artery-clogging great taste.

Stuffed-Crust Pizza
Pizza Hut does have its record of fails, but one that clearly keeps hanging on is their stuffed-crust pizza that was introduced in the '90s to attract children and their desire for a stringy, cheesy mess. The variation took on different levels of cheese (there is a double-stuffed crust pizza) but has slowly died in popularity over the past few decades.

Arch Deluxe
One of McDonald's infamous burgers, the Arch Deluxe was uncaged in 1996 with an intention to attract the tastes of other adults. Sadly, there wasn't too much of a change. The burger was still a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and a top-secret mustard/mayo sauce on a different bun.

Doritos Taco
Unveiled earlier this year, the Doritos Taco used its unofficial name to create a buzz on the collaboration between the famous chips and Taco Bell. A few weeks later, the test product fell to more negative reviews that called out the taco's amount of grease being a threat to school systems across the United States.

Anyone who's ever visited McDonald's has heard about the legend of the McRib knows that it's notorious. Ever since Ronald first revealed sandwich, the McRib has been in and out of the chain's rotation for years and now has become a myth that everyone hopes returns so dares and challenges can be issued and accepted.

The Frescata
There are certain spin-offs on the Frescata now, but when it was invented in the mid-2000s', it didn't get the warm reception it was looking for. In 2006, Wendy's created different types of the sandwiches but they never took off as a low-calorie option thanks to sandwich shops such as Subway.

Domino's Oreo Dessert Pizza
Similar pizza chains do still make dessert dishes that are actually quite appealing but when Domino's introduced their Oreo Dessert Pizza, it was clear they couldn't grasp the concept of blending the two together. The idea failed despite numerous commercials with the fast food option disappearing except for a few unknown outlets who still make it to this day.

One of McDonald's many, many rejects, their variation of the pizza was short-lived due to the dominance of already established pizza restaurants and delivery services. Plus, it also raised the question, "Would you trust pizza from McDonald's?".

To add spice to their menu, Taco Bell decided to release their own variation of a burger that will include everything else you would normally find in a taco. Unfortunately, the chain soon realized that their new addition was merely a Sloppy Joe.

In the time where the fast food giant added a "Mc" to almost anything, out came this glorious mess of a sandwich called the McLobster. Though it's not entirely certain if the option did contain lobster, McDonald's used it to attract different customers who preferred class when it came to taste.

KFC's Double Down
It came, it conquered, it clogged and it keeps coming back. KFC's health risk, the Double Down, was a newsworthy scare when it was recently introduced and since then, other chains haven't been able to create a dish that's relatively fattening. How has KFC responded? By adding to the Double Down's greasy taste and bringing it back in when it's demanded.

Hula Burger
Some may call it a vegetarian today, but when the Hula Burger arrived on McDonald's menu, it rarely caused a stir. Substituting other options, the sandwich got rid of the meat burger entirely and instead inserted a fried slice of pineapple that was topped with cheese, pickles and everything else.
