If you've ever wondered who's stealing your promotions, pay raises and Christmas bonuses, it's this guy. He's a walking Staples mascot that only knows Japanese.
9: The Afflac Duck Takes On Japan
Comparing the Japanese ads for Afflac to ones from the Western side of the world, Japan obviously has everyone beat. Especially in this commercial that goes smoothly until the weird hybrid doll at the end.
8: Chicken & Cough Drops
In the United States and Europe, Halls are advertised as cough drops that can soothe your throat instantly and help cure coughs and the like. In Japan, they involve chickens with human faces.
7: Hulk Hogan: Salesman
Hulk Hogan may not seem like the ideal salesman but in this commercial he does a pretty good job across from a very cute baby. What he's trying to sell exactly is the difficult part with this ad.
6: The Lemon Do'
Two guys at the beach with lemons tied to their hair should easily relate to lemon-flavoured soda, right? The only answer we can come up with is "we hope so".
5: The Del Monte Bunny
Even though the clip only shows the average man enjoying a glass of juice next to a tiny version of a girl dressed up as a bunny rabbit, we're sure Del Monte's even scratching their heads at this one.
4: A New Kind Of Fire Safety
When all else fails, it seems that the new cardinal rule is to follow these instructions. Note: this is an advertisement about high blood pressure.
3: Dole Man
A superhero or the worst nightmare ever are the only two things an individual can draw from this, and we hope that this ad only pushes the former. The latter would take the word "terrifying" to a new level.
2: Tommy Lee Is The Boss
Airport security. Aliens. Tommy Lee Jones. Coffee. It should all make sense right? To the common person, it's combination ripped from "Men In Black" but in this case, the actor can't get enough of that Rainbow Mountain blend.
1: Jumping For Noodles
It's hard to say why a Japanese noodles company would film a commercial based on jumping babies but the result doesn't actually make you feel hungry. It does however remind you of that evil Chucky doll.
