14: Trippy
This trippy building is the work of trick photography, but not Photoshop. A life-size distorted picture was actually adhered onto the front of the Hausmannian building to hide the renovations going on inside.
13: High Flying
The good news is, this isn't Photoshop. That's a real fly skateboarding off of a ramp. The bad news is that the fly is dead and glued to the skateboard.
12: Victoria Fall
This isn't Photoshop or a great place for a photo op. This is Devil's Pool in Victoria Falls. It's a natural pool of water perched right on top of a 360-foot fall down to certain death at the bottom.
11: 36 2 36
Realizing that this picture is not Photoshopped and a real picture of a woman named Cathy Jung's tiny waist raises a number of alarming questions like "why?", "how?" and "why!?"
10: Whee!
Who says that jumping on the bed isn't a productive use of your time? The next time someone gives you grief, tell them that you're trying to capture a photo like this.
9: Ice Cream Clouds
Sometimes photo magic is more about timing than technology. Also, if you know anywhere where we can get ice cream made out of clouds we'll be there yesterday.
8: Spiders!
We're sorry to say that this is not Photoshopped. This is real life nightmare fodder and proof that spiders gather in the millions. Now if you'll excuse us, we have a standing appointment with an exterminator.
7: Nice Womb
This may look like a scene from Space Odyssey: 2001, but it is the real thing. This is one of the first pictures ever taken by an endoscope, featured on a 1965 cover of LIFE magazine.
6: Clouds?
This is certainly the type of childish thing we might Photoshop if we had the skills. But unfortunately, Mother Nature beat us to it.
5: Rubber Ducky
This isn't Photoshop or your most terrifying bath-time nightmares come to life. This is an art installation by Florentijn Hofman and it really is a 100ft. rubber ducky floating in the river.
4: Mother Nature is an Artist
This is a real place and we totally want to go there. This Arizona valley was carved out of ancient compressed sand dunes to create those neat, wavy lines.
3: Walking on Water
We had trouble believing this one too. But that's really a dude standing out in the middle of Salar de Uyuni, a Bolivian salt flat.
2: Light Car
This may look digital but it's totally analog. Artist Benedict Radcliffe made this out of luminous wire frame and staged it in a street.
1: Tightrope Walker
Real-life daredevils don't need fake backgrounds. This is Dean Potter caught by Photographer Jeff Cunningham as he teased the Grim Reaper at Taft Point in Yosemite.
