This was one of the only promotional photos of the band before the release of their latest album "Mylo Xyloto". We're not completely sure what's going on here. It kind of looks like an effect with spray paint and lights, but we just like to look at it.

A classy photo of the guys. We think the "all black" look is a little overdone but when it comes to Coldplay, they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Guitarist Jonny Buckland playing at the Hollywood bowl. Their stage effects are hugely entertaining, but even without them, the talent of Buckland and the other members still makes them one of the best "must see" bands of all time.

The band is very active with charities and world issues. One of their biggest causes is Oxfam's Make Trade Fair campaign. Martin has frequently drawn the equality sign on his hand to display during concerts and all of the members are frequently seen in shirts representing Oxfam and other organizations.

We noticed that around the time of "Viva La Vida", the band got a little bit louder with their wardrobe and stage presence. We think they're incredibly fashionable and like to have a good time. That's what makes for great photos like this.

Puppets
They decided to transform into puppets for their "Life In Technicolor ii" video. We think it's a pretty good look but we'd feel kind of bummed out if they chose to make this a permanent thing. Playing those little guitars can't be easy...

The band is very grateful to their fans. After every performance they make sure to express that. Whether it's a smaller club (yes, even though they're huge in their fame, they still play for the "little guys") or a sold-out stadium, they make sure to show their gratitude.

Oh, it's just a picture of Coldplay with Paul McCartney. No big deal, right? There is so much talent and brilliance in this photo, it's a little hard to look away. Maybe it's the musicians or maybe it's the jackets.
